As an artist, Reiko believes in the effectiveness of working solo. It allows her to not be tainted by any outside forces and helps her get closer to herself through her art. Our lives are ever-changing, and each shoot gives her an opportunity to tap into where she is mentally and physically at that present moment in her life. She calls it a “photographic meditation”: a concept she coined explaining how one gets closer to themselves through the act of documenting what surrounds them.
Although making art is typically a solo exploration for her, Reiko is always open to changing it up and collaborating with other creatives. Please contact Espace Reiko if you are interested in collaborating or displaying your work.
